Tensiion Headaches
Nine out of ten Americans suffer from headaches, and tension headaches are one of the most common forms. The pain from tension headaches can often feel like you are wearing a tight band, or like you have a dull ache with pain around the head or behind the eyes. Tension headaches usually start slowly, with pain beginning at the back of the neck, moving forward. These types of headaches can vary in length from minutes to days. Headaches can be caused by many things, including muscle tension in the neck, stress, bad posture, sedentary activities, sleeping in an unusual position, or prolonged computer use. Chiropractic care can help relieve headache pain through spinal manipulations and postural changes.
